Sometimes life is so stressful that the thought of putting in one more minute seems like the end of the world. We&#8217;ve all been there and the best experience I can tell you works is portion control. If I told you that you could eat anything you wanted to eat and never had to worry about gaining weight you&#8217;d think I was crazy! With portion control you can eat anything you want and not gain a pound especially if you&#8217;re trying to lose weight without exercising.</p>
<p>Physical limitations might prevent you from being as mobile as you&#8217;d want to be, Age and being Overweight can prove hard factors. Portion control works very simply, instead of eating out of a container pour you a snack into a bowl instead and only eat what&#8217;s in the bowl. You could try making smaller meal portions for you instead of two sandwiches have just one. Cutting out things like sugary drinks will help a good deal as well.</p>
<p>Most people drink an average of 10-15% of their total overall fat in their drinks a day. Things like Coffee with sugar and cream, Carbonated Soda drinks, Tea with sugar all have loads of empty calories and if you could replace those drinks with water you&#8217;d be cutting out a ton of fat you didn&#8217;t even know was contributing to your being overweight. You can keep the coffee just nix the sugar and cream, You can keep the tea just take out the sugar and try fresh citrus fruit squeezed in instead. You can keep a carbonated beverage but try making it a sparkling water with no added flavor or sugar.</p>
<p>Losing weight without exercising does work! If you study to portion out your meals by making smaller amounts, ask a restaurant assistant to give you their advice on small portion servings. Instead of eating snacks from the box, pour them out into containers or baggies so that you can see what you are eating and how much of it you&#8217;re eating. Eating is very visual so if you see just how many of those potato chips are in a bag before you down the whole thing might make you understand more about the food that you eat.</p>
<p>You can also supplement how you eat all together by adding more fresh fruit and veggies to your diet instead of all that salty snack food. Salt makes your body retain water which adds to weight gain. When you get veggies and fruits home from the market, instead of just pushing them off into a drawer in the fridge, cut them up and it helps you as well. Portion them out in small covered containers or baggies for a quick snack or for even a meal replacement in a rush instead of eating out. When you know what goes into your body it makes you more aware of what you desire to eat in the first place.</p>
<p>Cooking at home, cooking smaller meals, portion out snacks and getting rid of sugary drinks, adding fruits and veggies to your diet will help you lose weight without exercise. If you are still struggling just remember to slow down, Food isn&#8217;t just fuel for our bodies but it&#8217;s something to be enjoyed and savored. Turn off your television, unplug your phone and spend a meal over good conversation and family it will make all the difference in how you view food and losing weight without exercise will really become a reality for you.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a little known fact, that sweet potatoes can actually aid weight loss, and for a couple of reasons. I must admit, when I read this myself, I didn&#8217;t think it could be true. It is true that there are a number of calories contained within this type of potato, but that is not whats important. If you think calorie diets work, then you need to think again.</p>
<p>Eating this type of vegetable has been found to control sugar levels, and also make your body more responsive to your bodies natural insulin, this will aid your weight loss. Sweet potatoes also contain a vast amount of vitamins and minerals, and are known to some as a super food. Not only can they help with weight loss, but they also help build muscle, help fight common colds and they also contain high levels of beta carotene, which has been found to reduce the risk of certain cancers.</p>
<p>So how can the sweet potato diet plan help you lose weight? The main reason I have found eating this vegetable is the feeling I get after eating this super food, and that&#8217;s a feeling of being full, all day long. I mentioned above about calorie counting diets not working, and that can be true for many people. If you find that type of diet is not working for you, then maybe it&#8217;s time you tried something new.</p>
<p>Here is what you can do, to get the sweet potato diet plan, to work for you.</p>
<p>Firstly, forget everything you know about diets, and open your mind to something new, exciting and different. Many people have different ways of cooking these vegetables, but this is the recipe I love and still use every week.</p>
<p>This is a recipe of mashed sweet potatoes.</p>
<p>1. Peel the potatoes, and cut into small cubes or slices. Just cook them like you would a regular white potato. Boil them for around 20 minutes, depending on their size, and simply test with a fork to see if they are nice and soft. Drain off the excess water.</p>
<p>2. Once you have drained the water away, melt a little butter, that&#8217;s right, butter into the pan you just used to boil them. Many of you might be surprised I am adding butter, as this is supposed to be a diet recipe.</p>
<p>3. Once the butter has melted, simply add the drained sweet potatoes into the pan. Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes in with the butter. You can use up to a stick of butter with this recipe. Add salt and pepper to taste, and even a drop of honey too, but be careful not to make them too sweet.</p>
<p>Are you surprised by this recipe? I bet you didn&#8217;t think you would ever see a diet recipe that included butter, and that&#8217;s where you have to open your mind and look at different diets. Calorie counting and eating salads might work for a small majority of people, but the vast amount of us, don&#8217;t want to use diet plans such as these. This is just the start of the sweet potato diet plan, and using this combined with other recipes using this vegetable, can aid weight loss by a huge amount.</p>

<p>My main advice would be to concentrate on what foods you are eating. It is far easier to control how many calories you consume than to try and exercise the calories away. Your nutrition will be 75% of the equation to lose the pregnancy weight you desire.</p>
<p>Concentrate on eating wholesome foods that are not processed, a.k.a., it doesn&#8217;t come from the middle aisles of the grocery store. So, no processed foods like chips, cookies, and fake food that tries to resemble real food.</p>
<p>When you eat mostly fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and legumes, that haven&#8217;t been processed or changed with chemicals and additives, you are eating pure, whole food. Food that is nutritionally the best for your body. Plus, it tastes better!</p>
<p><strong>2. Exercise to Burn Fat</strong></p>
<p>Exercise is the next component (of course) for fast weight loss tips. Sure, you can just change your diet and lose weight, but exercise will help you lose the weight faster! And, who doesn&#8217;t want that?</p>
<p>Do any type of exercise you enjoy to do. That way, you are more likely to stick with it.</p>
<p>If you do a bootcamp because your co-worker got great results, great. But if you hate those types of exercises, you&#8217;ll be one of the first people to drop out.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve tried P90X, and while it did work, I didn&#8217;t have the perseverance to continue with the maintenance program. I stopped after the 90 days, and the weight slowly came back.</p>
<p>What I do love is walking and running, and my neighbors can tell you that I love it too! It&#8217;s because they see me out walking and running 5-6 days a week.</p>
<p>With exercise you love to do, you&#8217;ll be able to lose belly fat fast, and keep it off in the long run.</p>
<p><strong>3. Slow and Steady Wins the Race</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s so easy to get caught up in the hype of losing a ton of weight all at once. But, it doesn&#8217;t work that way.</p>
<p>You are working to lose weight AND keep it off for the rest of your lifetime. Not just for the next 90 days.</p>
<p>So, give yourself the best chance for success by setting realistic, but challenging goals. For example, plan on losing 4 pounds in one month. Or, if you&#8217;d like a greater challenge, lose 8 pounds in one month.</p>
<p>Build up your successes from there. Once you know you can do it, the rest will get easier as time goes on.</p>
<p><strong>4. Your 30 Day Challenge</strong></p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve lost your 4 or 8 pounds over the course of a month, set another monthly goal. It&#8217;s great to set monthly goals because you give yourself a deadline to meet.</p>
<p>The next month after, continue with your next 4-8 pound weight loss and add one more thing. How about substituting a white starch like white rice with green vegetables?</p>
<p>Everyday, you&#8217;ll eat one green vegetable instead of the usual starchy food you would eat. You keep building upon your accomplishments, and the weight will drop off. It did for me.</p>
<p><strong>5. Keep doing What Works</strong></p>
<p>Sometimes, I can get caught up doing something that doesn&#8217;t work. It took me 20 plus years to finally realize that what I ate mattered more than exercising.</p>
<p>I was always athletic growing up. I&#8217;d run, play tennis, and I was in the marching band. I was pretty slim in my teenage years. But then my twenties hit, and I gained my Freshman 15 in college.</p>
<p>My weight would go up and down. Then I got married, and I gained my Newlywed 15. I&#8217;d keep exercising, but continue eating junk.</p>
<p>Well, I started eating more weight loss foods, and started to lose the weight much easier. I thought, &#8220;Well, this is working, maybe I should keep going?&#8221;</p>
<p>Lo, and behold, I lost a total of 58 pounds after my first pregnancy. And, I lost most of it by changing my eating habits, eating more nutrient dense foods.</p>

<p>Some spices are also beneficial for your digestion. Cayenne, black pepper, cumin and mustard seed are the examples of spices you can consume for a better digestion. Fruits such as pineapple, bitter melons, papaya and mango are also recommended for a successful weight loss.</p>
<p>Last but not least, include liquids in your weight loss program. Taking hot water throughout your day may help your digestion. You can also take fruit or vegetable juice, teas and light soup to weight loss success.<br />
Make sure that you consult your physician before taking herb treatments. It is because herb treatment may cause side effects. For example, taking ginger in exessive amounts may caus mouth irritation and mild heartburn.</p>
<p><strong>Ama Removal</strong><br />
Ayurvedic practitioners believe that removing ama from your system is very important in losing weight. Ama is a by product resulted by incomplete digestion. Commonly, practitioners use barberry and turmeric to reduce ama. You can also use other Ayurvedic herbal compounds like guggulu, triphala or trikatu. To eliminate ama from your system successfully, follow your practitioner suggestion.</p>
<p><strong>Exercise</strong><br />
The exercise that you should do depends on your dosha or body-mind type; whether it is pitta, vata or kapha. If your dosha is pitta, you are recommended to do competitive sports or challenging hiking. For persons with vata dosha, they should perform exercises with gentle movement. Meanwhile, persons with kapha dosha should perform exercises like dancing, swimming or hiking. Your practitioner will determine your dosha based on some factors such as weight, hands, arms, teeth, shoulders and other elements like activity patterns, imunity, learning pattern, and more.</p>
