Sometimes we cannot fix in the time to exercise! Sometimes life is so stressful that the thought of putting in one more minute seems like the end of the world. We’ve all been there and the best experience I can tell you works is portion control. If I told you that you could eat anything you wanted to eat and never had to worry about gaining weight you’d think I was crazy! With portion control you can eat anything you want and not gain a pound especially if you’re trying to lose weight without exercising.
Physical limitations might prevent you from being as mobile as you’d want to be, Age and being Overweight can prove hard factors. Portion control works very simply, instead of eating out of a container pour you a snack into a bowl instead and only eat what’s in the bowl. You could try making smaller meal portions for you instead of two sandwiches have just one. Cutting out things like sugary drinks will help a good deal as well.
Most people drink an average of 10-15% of their total overall fat in their drinks a day. Things like Coffee with sugar and cream, Carbonated Soda drinks, Tea with sugar all have loads of empty calories and if you could replace those drinks with water you’d be cutting out a ton of fat you didn’t even know was contributing to your being overweight. You can keep the coffee just nix the sugar and cream, You can keep the tea just take out the sugar and try fresh citrus fruit squeezed in instead. You can keep a carbonated beverage but try making it a sparkling water with no added flavor or sugar.
Losing weight without exercising does work! If you study to portion out your meals by making smaller amounts, ask a restaurant assistant to give you their advice on small portion servings. Instead of eating snacks from the box, pour them out into containers or baggies so that you can see what you are eating and how much of it you’re eating. Eating is very visual so if you see just how many of those potato chips are in a bag before you down the whole thing might make you understand more about the food that you eat.
You can also supplement how you eat all together by adding more fresh fruit and veggies to your diet instead of all that salty snack food. Salt makes your body retain water which adds to weight gain. When you get veggies and fruits home from the market, instead of just pushing them off into a drawer in the fridge, cut them up and it helps you as well. Portion them out in small covered containers or baggies for a quick snack or for even a meal replacement in a rush instead of eating out. When you know what goes into your body it makes you more aware of what you desire to eat in the first place.
Cooking at home, cooking smaller meals, portion out snacks and getting rid of sugary drinks, adding fruits and veggies to your diet will help you lose weight without exercise. If you are still struggling just remember to slow down, Food isn’t just fuel for our bodies but it’s something to be enjoyed and savored. Turn off your television, unplug your phone and spend a meal over good conversation and family it will make all the difference in how you view food and losing weight without exercise will really become a reality for you.
